No one needs an introduction to the BBMF, surely the famous and best-loved aircraft in the world? The organizers are justifiably proud of the fact that they have been dealing with the Flight for over thirty years, long before the first venture here at Henstridge.
They have been fortunate in securing the fly-pasts of BBMF at most of their Wings & Wheels events, sharing with the audience most, if not all, of the BBMF’s serviceable aircraft including the Hurricanes, the Merlin and Griffon Spitfires, the venerable Dakota, and the thrill of not one but TWO Lancasters!
The visits by BBMF may be brief but are always memorable. Wings & Wheels is not an airshow, and the fly-pasts are not governed by the increasingly stringent CAA/RAF rules for display flying. If you want to closely observe the aircraft, marking the event’s date in your diary is suggested.
